7 days / 6 nights lake Titicaca visit to tiwanaco

Day 1: Pick-up and transfer from airport, visiting the CHULPAS at Sillustani on the way to the city of Puno. Overnight hotel.

Day 2: Breakfast.
8:00 a.m. Excursion by motorized launch to LAKE TITICACA, visiting the floating UROS ISLANDS and continuing on to the island of AMANTANI. Accommodation is with a local family. After lunch we will tour the island. Evening meal and overnight stay in family home.

Day 3: Breakfast.
8:00 a.m. Visit the island of TAQUILE. A chance to shop for local handicrafts before lunching on the island and descending to the port for the return trip to Puno. Overnight hotel.

Day 4: Breakfast.
7:00 a.m. Tourist bus from Puno to Copacabana in Bolivia, a journey of approximately 3 hours along the lake shore. A guided visit to the cathedral and the Virgin of Copacabana, before beginning at 11 a.m. a trip by CATAMARAN to the ISLAND OF THE SUN. Buffet lunch on the catamaran, videos and bar. Visit to the Island of the Sun in the company of an official guide, before returning to the mainland at HUATAHATA for the bus ride to LA PAZ, arriving at about 7:00 p.m. for a welcome dinner and overnight hotel.

Day 5: Breakfast at the hotel.
City tour, including the PLAZA SAN FRANCISCO, PLAZA MURILLO, WITCHES' MARKET and the VALLEY OF THE MOON. Afternoon free to explore the city and do some gift shopping. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Breakfast.
8:00 a.m. Guided excursion by tourist bus to the most important archaeological site of the Bolivian highlands at the pre-Inca TIWANAKU. Lunch then return to LA PAZ by about 4:00 p.m. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Breakfast.
Transfer from hotel to the El Alto airport thirty minutes from the city of LA PAZ.

End of service.
