Español CUSCO ADVENTURE 1
Visit the city of Cusco and the main touristic places include visit to Chinchero, Ollantaytambo, Machupicchu and Mountain Bike
Day 1: Pick-up and transfer from airport to hotel.
p.m. CITY TOUR, guided visits to the Cathedral, Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha) and the four archaeological sites near the city (Saqsayhuaman, Q'enko, Pukapukara and Tambomachay. Duration: from 14:00 to 18:00.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Breakfast at hotel.
6:00 a.m. Transfer from hotel in Cusco by bus to the village of Chinchero (45 kilometres from Cusco).
7:00 a.m. A mountain bike adventure passing several indigenous communities and visiting the archaeological site at Moray, the salt mines at Maras and arriving in the Sacred Valley of the Incas where we will camp on the banks of the Vilcanota river. Evening meal and overnight camping.
Day 3: Breakfast in camp.
7:00 a.m. Transfer to the train station at Ollantaytambo.
8:00 a.m. Train trip to Km. 104 where we will begin our trek. This first stage takes approximately four hours. Along the way we will be able to appreciate the flora, fauna and archaeological remains of the area. We will eat a cold lunch (included) and arrive at the archaeological site of Wiñay Wayna in the afternoon. After visiting the site we will take our evening meal and stay overnight in the local hostel.
Day 4: 4:30 a.m. Breakfast.
5:00 a.m. A two hour walk to Intipunku above Machu Picchu, from where we will have a panoramic view of the citadel at sunrise. Two hour guided visit to the ruins. Bus to Aguas Calientes and group lunch at a local restaurant.
4:00 p.m. Return journey by train to Cusco.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Breakfast and transfer from hotel to airport.
End of service.
