CUSCO PUNO LAKE TITICACA
04 days / 03 nights: Cusco - Puno Lago Titicaca

Day 1: 8:00 a.m. Start of ten hour train journey from Cusco to Puno, arriving at about 6:00 p.m. at the highland city, where you will be transferred to your 3 star hotel.

Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel
7:00 a.m. Excursion to the beautiful highland Lake Titicaca. Visit the floating UROS ISLANDS, where Aymara customs are conserved, before continuing on to the island of AMANTANI, where we will be the guests of the islanders in their homes.
Lunch, followed by an afternoon guided tour of the island and its sacred mountains of PACHAY TATA and PACHA MAMA, with fine views of Lake Titicaca and the Andean landscape. Later we will be shown the handicrafts and customs of the island, and in the evening after dinner we will have a chance to meet the islanders and be entertained by traditional music and dance.

Day 3: Breakfast.
8:00 a.m. Excursion by launch to visit the island of TAQUILE, the lake's other important island, which is home to the finest weavers and a people rich in customs. We will lunch on the island before going down to the lake shore for our return to the city of Puno. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 4: Breakfast
8:00 a.m. Excursion to the SILLUSTANI BURIAL TOWERS, by bus some 45 kilometers from Puno, enjoying the highland scenery and arriving at the shores of the beautiful LAKE UMAYO to see the ancient, 10 meters high funerary towers.
From here you will be transferred to the airport at Juliaca for the flight to Lima.
